Merrill Prize-Speaking Contest

The Merrill Prize Speaking Contest is Exeter’s longest standing award competition.  Students will prepare and memorize a theatrical piece to present.  Preliminary auditions will take place the weeks before the assembly with judges from the Theater Department and if you receive a call back, you will be presenting your piece for the entire student body at the Merrill Prize Assembly.  Academy judges will decide the winner(s). Prizes and final winners will be announced at the end of the spring term on Prize Day.
